. After the show ended, the network gave Spears her own vehicle, the inexplicably popular tween-oriented sitcom
Zoey 101,
in which she mugged her way through a string of misadventures. In 2007, the 16-year-old stunned when she announced her pregnancy, showing that this Spears hadn't completely escaped the life of turmoil and controversy that plagued her older sister.
