American actor Skeeter Vaughan was raised on a Cherokee Indian reservation (where he was called Grey Otter) and began his career at age 12 as a knife and tomahawk thrower in a traveling show. He went on to act and perform stunts in various television shows and in feature films of the '70s and '80s. Vaughan has also worked in television commercials.
