American writer/producer Warren Wilson's screen career spanned a mere decade, from 1935 to 1945. Wilson was most closely associated with musical comedies. His credits included Dick Powell's Thanks a Million (1935), Olsen and Johnson's Hellzapoppin' (1941), and Kay Kyser's Swing Fever (1943). Even his B-series entry Blondie Goes to College (1942) managed to sneak a few songs into the proceedings. A producer at Universal in the mid-'40s, Warren Wilson supervised and co-wrote a brace of entertaining Joan Davis vehicles, She Wrote the Book and She Gets Her Man (1945).
