British actress Susan Wood (aka Susan Wood Meltzer), primarily appeared on-stage, but also occasionally appeared on television and in feature films. She made her screen debut in Who's that Knocking at My Door? (1968). Wood studied at New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts and under Uta Hagen in the '50s. She left acting for several years to work as a clinical psychologist and then focused on her stage career.
