Gabel followed with an impressive recurring role in the second season of “Nip/Tuck” (FX, 2003- ), playing a lying, bullying, thieving and sexually ambiguous young man with a personal vendetta against Matt (John Hensley), the troubled son of a hotshot Miami plastic surgeon (Dylan Walsh). After a small part in father-in-law Ron Howard’s adaptation of “The Da Vinci Code” (2006), Gabel landed his first regular series role in “Dirty Sexy Money” (ABC, 2007- ), playing the bad boy in a wealthy New York family, who calls upon an idealistic young attorney (Peter Krause) to take care of its legal – and not-so-legal – needs.
