Jamie-Lynn Sigler

While this pretty brunette came to prominence as a mafioso's daughter on The Sopranos, Sigler is of Jewish and Cuban extraction. Involved in entertainment from an early age, she starred in a number of stage musicals before landing her seminal role. While on The Sopranos, Sigler battled numerous demons: Initially, the stress of filming a TV show prompted her to take a leave of absence from college, and a very public bout with anorexia almost derailed her career. However, the spunky player bounced back to a healthy weight and went on to release a 2001 pop album and pen a 2002 memoir, Wise Girl, about her eating disorder. Forays onto the big screen and Broadway kept her busy when the series was on hiatus. And although her 2003 marriage to manager A.J. DiScala only lasted two years, the twentysomething starlet seemed to be on a healthy road.
