Best known as Eric Matthews, the older sibling who never seems to have time for his younger brother Cory (Ben Savage) on the ABC sitcom "Boy Meets World" (1993-2000), Hartford native Will Friedle (pronounced Freh-dell) began acting in the fifth grade in a professional production of Ibsen's "A Doll's House". That role, in turn, led to TV commercials for products such as Skittles and Nintendo, as well as guest appearances on two 1990 episodes of "True Blue" (NBC) and on "Law & Order" (NBC), both filmed in New York. His role in "Boy Meets World" has required the attractive light-haired actor to commute from his native Connecticut to L.A.

Among his other credits are the CBS TV-movie "The Gift of Love" (1994), in which Friedle played the grandson whose death makes his heart available for transplant to his grandfather (Andy Griffith) and "Educating Mom", a 1996 "ABC Afterschool Special", wherein he was the high school son of Jane Kaczmarek who is humiliated when she returns to school alongside him. Friedle made his feature film debut with the the direct-to-video release "Trojan War" (1997), playing a high school geek who tutors the object of his affection only to find that when his admiration is returned, he has no condom handy.

The actor continued to thrive in family-oriented telepics such as "My Date With the President's Daughter" (1998) and features like "H-E Double Hockey Sticks" (1999) as a demon-in-training seeking to steal the soal of a future hockey superstar. Friedle was also cast in a string of short-lived TV series--"Go Fish" (2001), "The Random Years" (2002) and "Regular Joe" (2003)--before branching out into more raunchy territory with the sex-minded comedy "National Lampoon's Gold Diggers" (2004), playing one of two clueless, money-grubbing thieves who marry older woman in hopes of inheriting their fortunes.

As a voice actor for animated projects, Friedle is perhaps best known for his role as the future Dark Knight, Terry Mcginnis, in the sci-fi superhero series "Batman Beyond" (The WB, 1999-2001) and Ron Stoppable on Disney's "Kim Possible" (2002 - ).
