Producer Matthew Rushton was behind television and feature-film productions of the '80s and '90s. He launched his career working for Bob Hope and Merv Griffin. Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), which Rushton executive produced, remains his best-known project. On television, Rushton produced such movies as Hot Point, and The Tower.
