Veteran character actor of stage, screen and TV, most typically in comically frantic or flustered roles, who appeared on Broadway in shows including "Saratoga", "The Girls in 509" and "No Time for Sergeants". In the latter Millhollin played what is perhaps his best-remembered part, that of a frustrated psychiatrist defeated by the naivete of a new Army recruit (Andy Griffith). He recreated his part in the 1958 film version, and also acted in such broad farces as "Everything's Ducky" (1961), "Zotz!" (1962), "Under the Yum Yum Tree" (1963), "Never a Dull Moment" (1968) and "How to Frame a Figg" (1970). On TV Millhollin played the owner of a temp agency perpetually on edge because of the antics of a klutzy maid-for-hire (Imogene Coca) on the sitcom "Grindl" (1963-64) and in later years did guest stints.
