With a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model for a mother and an ex-president of Yale for a grandfather, this up-and-comer boasts both beauty and brains in her background. A cosmopolitan starlet who spent time in London and Rio de Janeiro before settling in New York as a teen, she launched her acting career with a three-year stint on As the World Turns before making her big-screen debut in the 1998 horror flick The Faculty. While she continued to be the ubiquitous stunner in youth-oriented fare (The Fast and the Furious, the prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, produced by her future husband, Andrew Form), she also found time to earn a degree from Yale and have a steamy romance with Mark Wahlberg. In 2007, she signed on as the female lead to the TV pilot Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the small-screen adaptation of the thriller that brought together Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, but the series was not picked up.
