Tover established himself as one of the finest technicians in Hollywood with his work on productions such as "I'm No Angel" (1933), "Hold Back the Dawn" (1941), "The Snake Pit" (1948), "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951) and "From the Terrace" (1960).
