As a young adult Roberti was a nightclub singer until moving to the United States in the '20s. She worked steadily on Broadway until 1932 when she made her Hollywood film debut. Typically cast....

As a young adult Roberti was a nightclub singer until moving to the United States in the '20s. She worked steadily on Broadway until 1932 when she made her Hollywood film debut. Typically cast as a man-hungry comedienne in musicals, Roberti appeared in 11 feature films and a few shorts over the next six years. She died of a heart attack in 1938.
