Cinematographer Andrei Moskvin is ranked among the Soviet Union's most talented lighting directors. He has worked with such great filmmakers as Eisenstein -- on the magnificently photographed two-part epic Ivan the Terrible -- Kozintsev, and Trauberg. Moskvin's career began in the mid-'20s and continued through 1960. He was among the founders of the Factory of the Eccentric Actor (FEX).
