Appeared with future Gilligan's Island costar Bob Denver in a 1960s beach flick, For Those Who Think Young.
Landed seminal role of movie star Ginger Grant on the popular TV show Gilligan's Island (1964-67) while starring on Broadway in the play Fade Out, Fade In; disassociated herself from the
Co-starred in the 1975 thriller The Stepford Wives.
Landed a recurring role on the primetime sudser Dallas as Julie Gray, J.R. Ewing's secretary at Ewing Oil.
Had a guest-starring role alongside her other Gilligan's Island costars Dawn Wells, Bob Denver and Russell Johnston on a 1995 episode of Roseanne---as Roseanne.
Is a licensed helicopter pilot.
Spearheaded a health-care company TLC and marketed a parasol for women eager to keep the sun off of their skin.
Works as a volunteer reading teacher at various schools in New York.
