Lothar Wolf came to the U.S. in 1936 after working as an editor, publicist, and assistant director in Germany and France. Once in the States, he was the chief film editor of the March of Time series. Following WWII, he founded and led the Motion Picture Section of the Marshall Plan Information Service. In the early '50s, Wolf began producing feature films. He later produced many National Geographic documentaries.
