American entertainer Nancy Andrews began her career on Broadway in the 1949 production of Touch and Go. The show won her a Theater World Award. A gifted comedienne as well as a singer, she proved herself a versatile performer equally at home with musical comedy and dramatic productions. In addition to performing, Andrews also wrote music and dialog for her cabaret act which she often performed on television. During the 1970s, she appeared in six films including WW and the Dixie Dancekings (1975).
