A dancer trained in ballet, jazz and West African dance, Keymah has appeared in a number of theatrical productions, including her one-woman show "Some of My Best Friends". One of four actors chosen by the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center to participate in a collaboration with the Russian Cultural Affairs Department, Keymah traveled to Shelykova, Russia to workshop "The Old Settler", a play by Jon Henry Redwood, and then appeared in the production at the Napokrovki Theatre in Moscow. She made her feature debut in a small role in Rusty Cundieff's "Tales from the Hood" (1995) and landed a supporting role in Quentin Tarantino's "Jackie Brown" (1997).
