G-Thang

Born Gary Johnson, G-Thang (his nickname) began his career as a stand-up comic, dealing primarily with urban-oriented and racially-themed material. He distinguished himself, however, by avoiding much of the raunchiness that characterized his colleagues on the stand-up circuit, and by delving into current affairs to a somewhat unusual degree. He projected a slightly hyper and reckless (though not manic) attitude on stage and in interviews, that became a personal trademark. G-Thang transitioned to motion pictures with a role as Calvin in the no-holds-barred genre spoof Disaster Movie (2008), opposite Kim Kardashian and Carmen Electra.
