Milena Govich

The daughter of two University of Central Oklahoma music professors, Govich seemed destined for a tuneful career. After completing a double major in performance and pre-med at her parents' school, this sexy player moved to New York and began landing roles in a succession of musicals. In 2005, she snagged a role as a prostitute/con artist on the gritty firefighter drama Rescue Me. With her model looks juxtaposed against her tough-as-nails vibe, she fit right into the gritty series. A guest spot on Law & Order led to her being cast as an assistant district attorney in creator Dick Wolf's 2006 spin-off Conviction. When the show fizzled, he gave her a plum part as a kick-ass cop on Law & Order, the first time in the series' 17-year history that a woman played one of the two lead detectives.
