A leading art director/production designer of the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s, Haworth utilized visual stylings that helped bring to life the films of Alfred Hitchcock ("Strangers on a Train" 1951; "I Confess" 1952), Don Siegel ("The Beguiled" 1971; "Telefon" 1977), and Sam Peckinpah ("The Getaway" 1972; "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid" 1973). His final feature credit was on the sports comedy, "Mr. Baseball" (1992).
