A confident, pleasantly ordinary-looking African-American juvenile player, Bledsoe is perhaps best known to television audiences as Vanessa Huxtable, the sometimes whiny, sometimes mischievous middle daughter on the long-running NBC sitcom "The Cosby Show" (1984-92). After a three year hiatus, she returned before the cameras as host of her own syndicated talk show, "Tempestt" (1995-96).
