Sean Faris, Best Fight winner – Never Back Down
On gaining exposure for his film and mixed martial arts: “Our movie was nowhere near as big as those [competitors]. To be the first mixed martial arts film it is great that it was nominated so I can bring out more awareness because it is being called a very brutal sport, it is just a sport. [If I win] I’m going to throw it all over everyone who is within five feet of me. Fun times.”
Joey Ansah, Best Fight nominee – Bourne Ultimatum
On working with Matt Damon: “When I was shooting this fight scene with Matt Damon I said you better win an award…I always loved the MTV Movie Awards and to actually be here is great…I’ve been in martial arts my whole life so it was great that we did it all for real.”
