Scoop: 1960s. Midwest university professor and married father of six, Bob Kearn (Greg Kinnear) invents a wind-shield wiping device that'll be used by every car in the world. But Bob's dreams of hitting the jackpot are dashed, when an auto giant that embraced his creation, effectively shuns him. Ignored, threatened and buried in years of litigation, Bob becomes a man obsessed with justice and acknowledgement of his life's work.
If a Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words, We Say: Greg Kinnear's Detroit professor has found something fishy under the hood, too bad the avenging Michael Moore was only a young'un back then--otherwise we know he'd be right there next to Kearn. Either way, Kinnear always hits his mark.
