was “extremely flattered” to be taking home her third Emmy tonight, but despite all the accolades, she couldn’t help but sing the praises of another woman in her life;

“I feel very protective of her,”
Smart
says of her

co-star. “I was shocked when she told me [she had breast cancer] and I started to cry a little bit when she told me…I started tearing up and I said it’s not because I think anything is going to happen to you, but I hate that you have to go through this. She’s a very spiritual person, she’s very strong and now she’s 100 percent so it’s all good.”
