3. 30 Days of Night
Blood splatter on snow makes for a pretty horrifying picture, no? This vampire romp takes the whole blood-sucking motif to a new level. The evil ones attack an frozen Alaskan town plunged into 30 days of darkness with a bloody ferocity usually not seen in this horror genre. The really gory part? The vampires never clean up after they drink, walking around with blood all over their clothes and faces. Use a towelette once in a while.
