2. Starship Troopers
Starship Troopers isn’t just about big, scary alien bugs skewering people. It is a metaphor for social issues such as warmongering propaganda. Yeah, yeah, what we like about the movie is the young innocent cadets getting cut in half by bugs. As violence for the sake of violence goes, Troopers may not be a “horror” film per se, but it’s a true gore fest.
