Wait, she is a vampire in the movie? Most people stop paying attention after the tight spandex outfits. But yes, that's how she can do all those nifty Matrix-y tricks and kick so much butt. Kate would be the sexiest barnacle scrubber if she chose to play one, so making her a dark brooding bloodsucker is a no brainer.
