DIVING MORE LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA
Finding out that Disney is remaking 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea got me excited. I so loved the 1954 original based on the Jules Verne novel and starring Kirk Douglas and a sinister James Mason as Captain Nemo. A remake might just be in order. Imagine what the giant squid would look like in this day and age. Of course, my hopes were then deflated when I heard who they got to helm this newest verison: McG. Seriously? The hack who directed Charlie's Angels? Come on, Mouse House, you can do better than that.
