Cruise was taken by Kidman when he saw her in the 1989 film Dead Calm and arranged a role for her in his racing flick Days of Thunder. The power couple was married for nearly 10 years before divorcing in 2001. Kidman later revealed she was twice pregnant by Cruise — first when she was 23 and once more after they’d already separated — but she miscarried both times.
