America's Best Dance Crew Finale
(Thursday, Mar. 5, 2009)
It's finale night of America's Best Dance Crew, and that means two things: 1. Old crews come back to perform collaborative routines, and 2. Randy Jackson shows up with the cardboard check worth $100,000. And the full-time American Idol judge, who's fine being the guy that appears just once on the show titled Randy Jackson Presents: Blah Blah Blah, will present the cash-money prize to one of two teams: Quest Crew, the very talented, but (unfortunately) now ubiquitous to ABDC, all-Asian-male group; or Beat Freaks, the first all-girl crew to even make it within episodes of the finale. And not only that, these girls have never relied on their boobs, butts or barely-there skivvies to succeed; in fact, they're most often clad in baggy running suits and still garnering compliments like "I think you should be called America's Best Dance Crew" (courtesy of judge Shane Sparks). OK, confession: We're rooting for Beat Freaks. I mean, they made a silver bowling ball float in mid-air, all whilst dancing the sickest steps ever — how could you not?YESTERDAY'S DO-IT: A new Top Model is before us!
