You’re in on the secret: Clark Kent is Superman. For seven and a half seasons, the show’s been winking at this someday-soon transformation, but never coming clean — until now. Well … almost. Last week, Jimmy Olsen identifies an unidentified do-gooder saving Lois’ life … as Clark Kent! Clark panics and enlists the help of the Green Arrow to save a life whilst wearing a red cape. Jimmy’s life, in fact, just so the dirt-diggin’ reporter can see that the fella wearing the cape isn’t Clark because Clark is standing right beside him. But — a show of hands — who’s convinced? We’re willing to bet that Jimmy isn’t. Lois is kinda curious, too. Word is, Clark’s Supergirl cousin Kara returns tonight; can she nudge our reluctant superhero to finally wear the cape? We’ll see! Seven years later, finally, here comes the Kryptonite-packed action.
