Why We Liked It So Much: Look at Maddox. Angelina saved him. Without Angelina, Maddox would be wandering the Cambodian jungles with not a Mohawk, but a bowl cut; and to Maddox’s cred, Angelina would still be collecting blood droplets of future boyfriends. Then came Zahara, who (a) gave Ethiopia a bit of positive press, and (b) sealed the deal with Daddy Brad and the Jolie-Pitt surname. The adoption of Pax was kind of a blur, but still very cool. Because Vietnam is so hip right now.
Now, Not So Much: Well … they’re hunting for a fourth. And, whoops, we forgot to mention the not-adopted kids: Shiloh, who came before Pax but is closer in age with Zahara, and the twins, Knox and Vivienne. So again, Brad and Angelina are on an adoptive hunt for child No. 7 — while Angelina is kinda still breastfeeding the four-month-old infants. If six is the new company, seven is most-effin’-definitely a crowd.
What’s to Come: Asia? Check. Africa? Check. Europe? Check (sorta — twins were born in France). Obviously, Brangelina will be adopting from South America (or Central, but that doesn’t make as big of a splash, huh?). However, there are a few hiccups: Because Brad and Angelina aren’t married, Angelina can only adopt from a select group of countries, while Brad can’t adopt from most. Plus, other countries won’t allow you to adopt a child if a child of the same gender already lives at the proposed home. Sigh. Oh, boy or girl, what will Brangelina do? Find out in two months — all Mama Jolie’s waiting on is for the twins to turn six months old.
