10:01: The boys are at a Dolce & Gabbana function, for which Turtle is extremely dressed up--and by ‘extremely dressed up’ I mean sans baseball hat.

10:04: It’s an open-casket funeral service for Allen Gray (Paul Ben-Victor), which gives Ari the opportunity to look him in the eyelids and tell him how much he hated him. The funeral also gives Ari the potential opportunity of a lifetime when he is informally offered Gray’s former job as head of Paramount. It’s a plot development that will apparently shape the next episode or two--and possibly Vince’s career (or lack thereof?).

10:07: At long last, Eric gets complimented on his small stature--by a model, no less!

10:08: Dana Gordon’s (Constance Zimmer) back, and she wants a job working for Ari if he accepts the Paramount deal. Meanwhile, Mrs. Ari (Perrey Reeves) just wants to know who this Dana Gordon chick is.

10:13: E gets his cheeks squeezed by a supermodel almost twice his size in a scene that must be featured prominently on the DVD's blooper reel.

10:14: Vince goes looking for his model crush, Natasha (Daniella Van Graas), but runs into her marijuana-smoking friend. C’mon--do supermodels really spend their downtime smoking pot?! I mean, what happens when they get the munchies?

10:15: Poor E: The supermodel who kidnapped him and took him to her room only wanted to show him her reel, which unfortunately isn’t an anatomical euphemism.

10:16: Jeffrey Tambor has a nice scene in which he scoffs at the idea of doing another TV show. If it’s not the best cameo of the season, it’s definitely the most unexpected.

10:21: Best quote of the episode, courtesy of Vince (surprise, surprise): “I’m not gay; I’m not even bi.” And on that note, Vince turns down yet another easy million-dollar check…

10:23: …But hitches a ride to Hawaii with a plane full of modes. Can’t put a price tag on that.

10:25: Whoa, Entourage throws us a genuine-moment curveball: Vince is not so approving of Ari’s potential Paramount deal, by which Ari is taken aback. They go their separate ways as…Radiohead plays through the credits? Very un-Radiohead--thus making it a double-curveball scene!

10:28: Previews for next week: Turtle evidently snags a date with mega-guest star (and HBO alum) Jamie-Lynn Sigler; Ari inches closer to accepting the Paramount deal; and Josh Weinstein (Joshua LeBar) breaks the news to Vince that he’s not going to be a movie star anymore. Uh-oh, could Ari and Vince become Tinseltown adversaries? Very, very doubtful, to answer my own question, which I'd intended to be rhetorical.
