Devastated over his breakup with his girlfriend, a young man leaves L.A. to stay with his wacky grandma in Detroit who lives across the street from the Hardwicke family. As the young man struggles to get over his own inner conflicts, he is drawn into the pains and loves of the Hardwicke women--all of whom, in their own way, fall in love with him and help him find his way back.
