Both Rumer Willis, who was named Miss Golden Globe, and Steven Spielberg, who was chosen to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his "outstanding contribution to the entertainment field," missed out on their chance last January when the 65th Annual Golden Globes was downsized to a press conference due to the writers’ strike.

So this Sunday is like a do-over for them.

As for Rumer Willis, traditionally, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Miss Golden Globe, who assists in the Golden Globes ceremony, is the offspring of a well-known celebrity. Previous Miss Golden Globe honorees include Lorraine Nicholson (daughter of Jack Nicholson and Rebecca Broussard), Laura Dern (daughter of Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern), and Melanie Griffith (daughter of Tippi Hedren).

Rumer, 20, is the daughter of two-time Golden Globe nominee Demi Moore and four-time Golden Globe nominee Bruce Willis, who won a Golden Globe as Best Actor in a Television Series (Comedy or Musical) for Moonlighting.

She was born Aug. 16, 1988 and currently resides in Southern California. She was named after British novelist Rumer Godden. She made her film debut at the age of five in the movie Now and Then. She continued acting alongside her parents in such films as StripteaseThe Whole Nine Yards and Hostage.

After graduating high school, she attended USC for a few semesters, until she decided to pursue acting full time. Since spreading her acting wings, Rumer has completed two films of her own: House Bunny, opposite Anna Faris and Colin Hanks and the independent From Within, starring Adam Goldberg and Thomas Dekker.

Rumer feels like she’s pretty prepared for her upcoming role as Miss Golden Globe on Sunday. She’s had a full year to think about it. "I'm sure I'll be able to walk up and down without tripping," she told the San Francisco Chronicle.
