Project Runway (Season Premiere) – 10/9c on Lifetime
Better really, really late than never: After almost a year of legal wrangling between Project Runway's old network, NBC (which owns Bravo), and its new network, Lifetime, season 6 finally kicks off -- with a bang! (Who cares that everything but the finale has been in the can since October 2008, right?) The main event, again searching for the best clothing designer in a field of 16, airs at 10 p.m., but it’s sandwiched between so much Runway goodness that viewers will quickly forget how long they’ve been waiting. First up at 8 p.m. is the two-hour Project Runway: All-Star Challenge, which brings back eight popular designers from seasons past to compete for $100,000. Then, just as Runway addicts are starting to come down from the euphoria of the big show, its catwalk-centric spinoff Models of the Runway airs at 10:30 p.m.
