We may not get the Harry Potter Go we’ve all been wishing for, but Google announced something that might be just as good. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is coming to Google’s Virtual Reality headset, Google Daydream.
The announcement was made during a Google event, but there’s not much known about what exactly will happen in the game. All we know is that you’ll be able to wave your controller like a wand.
Daydream’s controller is similar to a Wii remote. Basically, it makes the perfect wand. We’re speculating that the game will have a little Pokemon Go influence — after all, once all those fantastic beasts get let loose in New York, someone has got to wrangle them up.
Google also revealed some other features of Daydream. There’s a Star Chart app that will let users explore stars and constellations. You can also watch Netflix, Hulu and other media inside the VR device.
Google Daydream is shipping out in November. There’s no release date yet for the Harry Potter app, but we’ll keep you updated!
