007 star Colin Salmon voted off British dance show

The actor, who portrayed Bond boss Charles Robinson in Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is Not Enough, was voted off the hit show on Sunday night (04Nov12).

The 49-year-old star lost his place after he and partner Kristina Rihanoff took part in a dance-off after coming bottom of the celebrity dance teams for a second successive weekend.

Salmon took his rejection with dignity, stating, “This is one of the greatest shows I’ve ever been involved in. The quality of the competitors this year is seminal.”

The actor, who is currently starring in hit U.S. TV drama Arrow, admitted that the worst thing about leaving the show was the fact he’d have no more rehearsal time with Rihanoff: “I’m going to miss Kristina, she is an amazing dancer, a pre-eminent dancer in her field, she’s taught me many, many things.
