50 Cent’s arraignment on domestic violence and vandalism charges has been postponed until 5 August (13). The rapper’s attorneys requested the delay so they can arrange for their client to appear in court to face charges he attacked a former girlfriend in her home in Toluca Lake, California in June (13).
Daphne Joy dated the hitmaker, real name Curtis Jackson, for three years and reportedly shares a child with the rap star.
Reports suggest 50 Cent destroyed $7,100 (£4,700) worth of property, and left the scene before police arrived.
He faces up to five years behind bars, according to prosecutors.
