The Little Miss Sunshine star took to the stage at the Stand venue to make the music videos, which she hopes to showcase to record label bosses, and she took inspiration from her experiences of superstorm Sandy for one of the tracks.
The 16 year old was separated from her mother during the storms which ravaged America’s East Coast last October (12) and she has now channelled the intense emotions she felt during the disaster into her music.
A source tells the New York Daily News, “She was gorgeous and so sweet and easygoing.”
This isn’t the actress’ first foray into music – she formed a band with a pal after learning to the play the guitar for her role in Janie Jones and also duetted with rising New York band Stargroves on their track Within Me A Lunatic Sings last year (12).
