Actress Ann Gillis dies at 90

Former child star Ann Gillis has died at the age of 90.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer star passed away on Wednesday (31Jan18) in a nursing home in East Sussex, England, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Born in Arkansas, Gillis began her career as a child star in the 1930s and landed her first acting role at the age of seven in the film Men in White. She went on to star in several TV shows and films, including Little Orphan Annie, The Saint, and The Time of their Lives.
She also voiced the character Faline in Disney’s animated classic Bambi.
Her last film credit was in 1968’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.
