Adam Lambert tried his luck on celebrity dating app Raya but “didn’t meet anyone”.
The 36-year-old singer hasn’t been in a serious relationship since his romance with Finnish entertainment journalist Sauli Koskinen came to an end in 2013. And while he’s had flings since then, Adam has failed to find love. During an interview on Australian radio program The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the American Idol runner-up admitted he has attempted to find a partner on Raya – which celebrities such as Drew Barrymore have used in an attempt to snare new partners – but was unsuccessful.
“I’m on there. I’ve already done that one,” Adam said when Jackie asked him if he’d ever tried Raya. “I’ve come through it and I didn’t meet anyone.”
Adam also cited his busy work schedule as a problem when it comes to his personal life. With various singing gigs, such as his collaboration with rock band Queen taking him around the world on tour for the last few years, the raven-haired star struggles to court suitors due to his globe-trotting lifestyle.
“Dating is a bit tricky when you’re moving around all the time I have to say,” he sighed. “You can meet somebody great and then be like ok, I’m only here for three days I gotta go, it was a nice first date and goodbye… It’s tough.”
