The former 30 Rock star has been portraying President Trump on Saturday Night Live since last year (16), and now he is teaming up with Spy Magazine founder Kurt Andersen to pen You Can’t Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump.
In addition to co-writing the book, Baldwin will also read the audiobook while impersonating the leader. The book is scheduled for release in November (17).
“I think it’s fair to say that Kurt will do most of the writing,” Baldwin tells the New York Times. “We have that arrangement whereby he doesn’t put on the wig, I don’t open up a Word document.”
“It’ll be sharp,” Andersen adds. “I’m going to start talking like Trump. It’ll be great! It’ll be fantastic! But it will be sharp. It won’t just be fun-loving.”
Meanwhile, Trump has admitted he’s not a fan of old pal Baldwin’s mimicry.
The actor furiously responded to the then President-elect’s criticism of his Saturday Night Live skits in November (16), by advising him of his duties.
Trump took to Twitter to slam SNL and Alec’s impersonation, writing: “I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It is a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all.”

The Glengarry Glen Ross star fired back: “You know what I would do if I were Prez (President)? I’d be focused on how to improve the lives of AS MANY AMERICANS AS POSSIBLE. I’d be focused on improving our reputation abroad, including actually fighting for freedom and not just oil. I would make every effort 2 (to) retrain Americans so 2 cre8 (create) jobs. 1 (One) way u make America gr8 (great) again is 2 put it back 2 work. I would make appointments that encouraged people, not generate fear and doubt.”

He concluded his rant by telling the former host of The Apprentice TV show that should he want any more advice, he’d be available, writing: “You want more advice, call me. I’ll be at SNL.”
