Actor Alec Baldwin is in talks to host his own late-night TV talk show, according to U.S. reports. The 30 Rock star has been approached by bosses at TV network NBC to front a new interview-focused series.
An insider tells EOnline.com there “have been conversations” between Baldwin and NBC executives but “nothing close” to a deal is on the table just yet.
The source explains, “People have been impressed with his radio podcast series and have thought about him for these opportunities.”
Baldwin, host of the popular Here’s the Thing podcast for New York’s WNYC radio, is rumoured to be lining up to take over the late-night slot currently hosted by Carson Daly.
