Alexander Skarsgard stunned fans when he unveiled a bald head at an event on Thursday night (26Oct17).
The Swedish actor stepped out at the Volez Voguez Voyagez x Louis Vuitton party in New York, sporting a white shirt and classic grey suit.
But it was his bold new hairstyle that really caught the attention of onlookers, with Skarsgard’s hair completely shaved off on the crown of his head. It is believed the look is for his part as Anton Zaleski in Kim Nguyen’s The Hummingbird Project, which also stars Jesse Eisenberg and Salma Hayek and tells the story of a pair of high-frequency traders who go up against their old boss in an effort to make millions in a fibre-optic cable deal.
Alexander, 41, wasn’t the only celebrity to make a sartorial statement at the bash, with a number of other young stars also in attendance.
Zendaya rocked a vintage-style white blouse with black leather skirt from Louis Vuitton, and wore her brunette locks in a chic bob. Her fellow Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star Laura Harrier opted for a mint green dress, white top and sneakers from the French luxury label.
Jaden Smith wore white jeans, a T-shirt from Louis Vuitton’s latest resort collection and a denim jacket, which he accessorized with white trainers and a red cross-body Supreme bag.
Veteran Louis Vuitton brand ambassador Michelle Williams dazzled in a silver dress with draped neckline and fringed detail around the hemline, while French actress Lea Seydoux donned a red and white striped dress which she matched with an extravagant gold coat with Baroque-inspired pattern.
Alicia Vikander wowed on the red carpet too, opting for figure-hugging black trousers and a striking white coat with pretty blue pattern. The Tomb Raider star, who recently married longtime boyfriend Michael Fassbender, confirmed the nuptials when she flashed her new gold wedding band while posing for photographers.
