Alicia Vikander sustained chronic back injury in ballet training

Swedish actress ALICIA VIKANDER suffers from a lifelong, debilitating back condition after over-exerting herself while training as a ballerina in her teens.
The Ex Machina star started out as a dancer and she studied at the prestigious Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm, Sweden from the age of 15.
However, she was so determined to conquer the punishing training schedules that she developed a painful back condition she will suffer with for life.
Vikander tells Britain’s Stella magazine, “I still have a back injury that’s never going to be fully recovered.”
