Allison Janney celebrates Oscar win on pal Ellen DeGeneres’ show

Ellen Degeneres helped her pal Allison Janney celebrate her recent Oscar win by treating her to a party on her talk show on Monday (19Mar18)
The West Wing star picked up her first Academy Award for her role in I, Tonya but didn’t get to celebrate long into the night, because she had an early start on her TV sitcom Mom the following morning.
So the comedienne threw her friend a surprise bash, complete with nearly naked male dancers, during her appearance.
“I felt bad that you didn’t get to celebrate so I wanted to give you a celebration cause I think you deserve it,” DeGeneres said.
Thrilled Janney admitted she was glad she didn’t have a party night after her big win earlier this month (Mar18), adding, “After you go through something like that, people say there’s a big let down, a big crash you go through. But I didn’t – I had work! I had to go to Mom and be with the crew, who I love.”
