Ally Brooke happy to dance in bandmate Normani’s shadow

Ally Brooke signed on for the new season of Dancing With The Stars after watching her former Fifth Harmony bandmate Normani tango up a storm on the show.

The singer finished in third place on the 24th season of the contest, and Brooke watched her every move.

She insists Normani’s efforts gave her the incentive she needed to say yes when producers came calling.

“I’m excited to take it on myself,” Ally tells Entertainment Tonight. “Obviously Normani was amazing.

She had the most incredible time. And she is, like, a whole other level. She is so amazing and so talented. She did unbelievable.

“I hope I can do the same and I’m ready to go out there. It’s gonna be a different experience, definitely a challenge for me. I don’t have a big dancing background, but this is going to be so much fun. I’m very excited.”

The new season of Dancing With the Stars, also featuring Christie Brinkley, Lamar Odom, and Kel Mitchell, premieres on September 16, 2019.
