Alona Tal to lead NYPD Blue sequel series

Seal Team star Alona Tal will lead the cast of the new Nypd Blue reboot.
The actress has been cast as Detective Nicole Lazarus in the sequel series to the hit 1990s police drama, starring Dennis Franz.
The new show focuses on the son of Franz’s beloved character, Detective Andy Sipowicz, as he investigates his father’s murder.
Jesse Bochco, the son of NYPD Blue co-creator Stephen Bochco, will direct the pilot, while Steven’s widow, Dayna, serves as a producer.
