alt-J launching their own craft ale

British indie rockers Alt-J are launching their very own craft ale.
The band announced their collaboration with Signature Brew, an east London brewing company that have also worked on beers for Frank Turner, Slaves, and Enter Shikari, to create India pale ale (IPA), called Absolutely No Worries, on Wednesday (22Aug18).
Speaking about the new beer in a press release, keyboardist and singer Gus Unger-Hamilton said their inspiration for the beer came from two unlikely sources; the band’s love of gin and tonic and their long-time sound engineer Lance Reynolds, whose image appears on the can.
“Something has been bubbling away between us and Signature Brew for the last few months,” he explained. “And today we are excited to announce our (very) drinkable collaboration: Absolutely No Worries, a brut IPA inspired both by our cocktail of choice and our very choice sound engineer. Brewed with citra hops, coriander seeds and juniper berries, this refreshing ale is reminiscent of that very alt-J drink, the gin and tonic. ”
The Breezeblocks hitmaker added: “We love him, we love this beer and we can’t wait for our grown-up fans to try it.”
alt-J are also planning to release REDUXER, a collection of remixes of tracks from their 2017 album, RELAXER, next month, and will hit the road again in October to tour the U.K. and Ireland.
